The Farafina 2010 Easter Drum & Dance workshop presents a rare opportunity to experience the energizing and uplifting effects of West African percussion & dance at its best. Farafina’s teachers, Mohamed & Sibo Bangoura, Malin Sylla & Lansana Camara will take you on a journey into the ‘spirit of Africa’.

Set against a the scenic backdrop of the Glenrock Recreation Area, classes are held within   short walked to a stunning Central Coast beach.

Drum & Dance Study Tour to Guinea, West Africa

Travel to Guinea-Conakry with two of Sydney’s finest West African Musicians Sibo & Mohamed Bangoura. Born into a Griot family, the brothers will share with you the music & traditions of their culture on a one month study tour.

Together they will bring you tuition of the highest calibre with some of Guinea’s finest musicians & dancers.
